Certo era bella, notevolmente bella, di quella bellezza
Russa che tanti uomini amano fino alla frenesia. Era una donna alta, formosa,
con delle movenze morbide, felpate, rese persino sdolcinate da una certa
leziosità, che si imprimeva anche nella sua voce. I suoi piedi non facevano
alcun rumore sul pavimento. Si abbandonò mollemente su una poltrona, con un
dolce fruscio del suo magnifico abito di seta nera… la sua era una bellezza
