THE SEVEN DEADLY SINS

SUPERB and ABSENCE
It is the gravest sin: whoever is affected by it believes himself superior to everything and everyone, he is arrogant, proud, arrogant and presumptuous, he thinks he is a god who has come down to earth to whom everything is due and granted. Thomas Aquinas he called pride a "immoderate love for one's own excellence»: True or presumed is all to be verified!
We wanted to combine pride withabsinthe. It was a blend, with a fresh and impactful taste, particularly appreciated by artists bohemian who consumed it in elaborate rituals with extravagant accessories.
AVARIZE and SAFFRON
Second capital sin, theavarice it is the immoderate attachment to money and material goods. It is a vice closely linked to greed, or the tendency to grab riches without restraint and more than necessary. The miser jealously guards his possessions, heedless of the needs of others. Greed is among the deadly sins as a too close link with material goods implies the separation from spiritual feelings and is the cause of the poverty of others.

LUST and SANTOREGGIA
Together with sloth, the sin of our time has been defined and everything testifies to it. From newspapers to television, from political lounges to the most unexpected places, lust is an omnipresent vice. It is the excessive craving for sex, for carnal relationships, an inordinate search for physical contact that ends up becoming depersonalized and not embracing the wholeness of the other person.
The Greeks dedicated the savory, also known for its peculiar flavor pepper grass , to the cult of Dionysus (the Bacchus of the Romans), god of wine, joy, well-being, and organized fabulous orgiastic parties in his honor.
Due to its reputation as a dissolute herb, in past centuries, monks were forbidden to cultivate it in the gardens of the convents. His best known virtue remained for centuries that of being a powerful one aphrodisiac and as such all the ancient medical treatises cite it.

THROAT and ISSOPUS
It is a very common sin, that of gluttony: it consists in the inability to moderate in food intake. Why is it included in the deadly sins? Eve's original sin can give a partial explanation, but the answer to the question is to be found in the tendency of some - many - people not to really listen to the needs of their body. Gluttony sinners are both those who consume excessive quantities of food, ending up in obesity, and those who voluntarily do not take enough and end up getting sick with anorexia and bulimia.
The hyssop, with a warm and pungent flavor, it is a herb with digestive properties, an aid after having succumbed to the sins of gluttony.
Gluttony is the curiosity of the stomach. (Jacques Normand, Thoughts of all colors, 1911) ... amaro Seven the answer.
ENVY and VERBENA
We can define envy as a self-defense tendency of those who feel inferior to another: this mechanism involves the destruction of the image of others in order to safeguard their pride and dignity. Instead of trying to positively value their qualities, the envious feels resentment for something that does not belong to them. Unlike other sins, envy does not bring pleasure: it is rather a continuous wearing down of the soul.
There Verbena, the herb of beauty and a remedy against negative influences such as envy.
Over the centuries, from the Romans who adorned its temples to Nostradamus who mentions it as a fundamental ingredient for rituals in his Bible of Magic, it was considered a magical and healing herb. With a fresh and lemon flavor.

IRA and ARTEMISIA
The anger that blinds, that dominates, that clouds the rational abilities, that makes scream at anyone, especially at those who lit the fuse. The anger that upsets, overwhelms, invests those who experience it. Sixth capital sin, anger is linked to an excess of passion: it is a violent reaction to something one is against and does not accept. The angry person often lets himself go to these extreme movements, his words and gestures have no limits.
L' mugwort, etymologically from the mythological Greek goddess of hunting Artemis, it is often counted among the natural remedies to improve depressive states, anxiety, insomnia and irritabilityto. It has a bitter and balsamic taste.
ACCIDIA and CARDAMOM
Seventh and last cardinal sin, sloth characterizes our time together with lust. It is the sin of laziness, indifference towards oneself and others, indolence, apathy, the tendency to depression.
The Cardamom, after saffron and black pepper, it is considered the true queen of spices, with a strong, intense and slightly spicy flavor.
